Commuity Action Initiative (Rochester, NY)

Community Action Initiative is a free private online group where we ground and center first—through meditation and mindfulness practices—then take aligned action for our local community.

We meet every other week to discuss issues like land protection, data centers, and other concerns, and to find ways we can take small but achievable actions especially if we are burnt out and exhausted.

Each month, we choose one shared action to take together (e.g., attend a town board meeting, draft messages, or contact local representatives) and we also support each other through resource sharing and encouragement.
